Inspired by the charm of traditional kampung gatherings, this Raya open house soiree was designed to recreate the warmth and nostalgia of festive celebrations from simpler times. Set within the outdoor space of Rumah Abang Jamil, the setup brings guests into a relaxed and familiar village-inspired setting.

At the heart of the space stands a handcrafted kampung house installation, serving as the focal point of the gathering. Styled with woven textures, hanging rattan lamps, and rustic details, the structure evokes the feeling of visiting a traditional village home during festive celebrations.

Tropical florals are paired with natural elements such as papayas, coconuts, and long beans, creating playful and vibrant centrepieces across the tables. The mix of fruits, foliage, and textured materials adds colour and authenticity, reflecting the abundance often seen during Raya festivities.

Together, the rustic structure, tropical arrangements, and relaxed table setting create an inviting atmosphere where guests can gather, dine, and reminisce. The space subtly evokes memories of kampung homes, festive meals, and nostalgic Raya treats.
